Privacy Policy

DARC by Advigl (“DARC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a business document management, workflow automation, accounting operations, and artificial intelligence platform developed and operated by Advigl LLC.
This Privacy Policy explains how DARC collects, accesses, uses, stores, processes, shares, retains, and protects information when customers and authorized users use DARC and its integrations, including integrations with Google services.
1. Information We Process
DARC may process information provided directly by customers and authorized users, including business documents, invoices, contracts, reports, accounting records, correspondence, files, document metadata, workflow information, comments, approvals, tasks, and other information submitted to or processed through the platform.
DARC may also process account and technical information necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and maintain the reliability of the service.
2. Google User Data
When an authorized user connects DARC to Google services, DARC may request access to Google user data only to the extent necessary to provide the features requested by that user or the user’s organization.
Depending on the enabled integration and permissions granted, this may include access to files, file contents, and file metadata stored in Google Drive.
DARC uses Google user data to perform user-facing functions such as locating authorized documents, retrieving documents selected or made available for processing, processing document contents, extracting structured business information, supporting document workflows, and maintaining references between DARC records and authorized source files.
DARC requests only the Google permissions reasonably necessary for the applicable functionality.
3. Use of Google User Data and Artificial Intelligence
DARC may use artificial intelligence and machine-learning services to provide user-facing document understanding, classification, extraction, validation, summarization, workflow assistance, and related business functionality.
Google user data is processed only as necessary to provide or improve these user-facing DARC features and in accordance with the permissions and instructions of the customer or authorized user.
DARC does not use Google Workspace API data to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
DARC’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. Sharing and Disclosure
DARC does not sell Google user data or other customer document data.
DARC does not use Google user data for advertising, personalized advertising, retargeting, determining creditworthiness, lending purposes, or sale to data brokers or information resellers.
Information may be processed by service providers acting on our behalf where necessary to operate DARC functionality, including infrastructure, storage, security, and artificial-intelligence processing services. Such processing is limited to providing the applicable DARC functionality and is subject to appropriate contractual, confidentiality, and security obligations.
We may also disclose information when required by applicable law or legal process, or where reasonably necessary to protect the security and integrity of DARC, its customers, or users.
5. Data Storage and Security
DARC uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect customer and Google user data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or misuse.
Access to customer data is restricted according to authorization, role, tenant, and operational requirements. Credentials and authorization tokens used for external integrations are intended to be protected from unauthorized access and used only for the integrations for which authorization was granted.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
DARC retains information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the applicable services, satisfy customer-configured retention requirements, maintain required business and audit records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Customers or authorized users may disconnect an integration or revoke DARC’s access through the applicable third-party service.
Requests concerning deletion of personal information or Google user data may be submitted using the contact information below. Subject to applicable contractual, legal, regulatory, audit, backup, and records-retention requirements, we will delete or render inaccessible information that is no longer required for the purposes for which it was processed.
7. Customer-Controlled Business Data
DARC is designed primarily as a business platform. Organizations using DARC may determine what documents and information are submitted to or connected with the service and may establish their own access, retention, workflow, archive, and governance policies.
Where Advigl LLC processes personal information on behalf of a customer organization, that organization may be responsible for determining the purposes and means of processing under applicable privacy law.
8. Third-Party Services
DARC may integrate with third-party services selected or authorized by customers. Use of those services may also be governed by the privacy policies and terms of the applicable third-party providers.
Disconnecting a third-party integration prevents future access through that authorization but does not necessarily delete information previously processed or retained in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable customer requirements.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as DARC evolves or as legal, regulatory, security, or platform requirements change. The current version will be published on this page with its effective date.
If we materially change how Google user data is accessed, used, stored, or shared, we will update the applicable disclosures and authorization practices as required.
